Lon Randall Ehrich, of Perham, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at his home, where he lived and worked.
He loved to bake and was a very good cook.
In his free time he enjoyed shooting his bow and arrow, being outdoors, and most of all riding his motorcycle.
He had a very big heart and he could always make you laugh or smile with his jokes and quirky personality. He was very funny and caring.
He loved kids whether they be his own, his grandkids and anyone else’s. Lon was also free spirited and a good man, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all.
He will forever be loved and missed by many.
Lon is survived by his girlfriend of many years Amy Washek and two step daughters, Tabitha and Tiffany Washek, of Perham; his youngest daughter, Karein Ehrich; Theresa Johnson, her kids, John Johnson, Jeff Watson, and Krissy Flatgard, all of Fergus Falls, and oldest daughter Angela Nickolalauson, Rhonda Nickolauson, and his grandchildren, Darion, Jayron, and Zayden of Wheaton; his mother, Loraine Ehrich; brothers, Tom (Nancy) Ehrich, Maurce Ehrich and John Ehrich; and sisters, Barb (Bruce) Larson of Arizona, Dixie (Richard) Hoeper of South Carolina, and Patty (Marvin) Hernwal.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arlan Ehrich; and his brother Ricky Ehrich.
A memorial service is planned at 1 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2013, at Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls.
