On October 18, 1949, she married Cecil Morris at Foxhome Lutheran Church and together they celebrated over 49 years of marriage. They made their home on the farm in rural Foxhome and moved to Fergus Falls in 1990. As a stay-at-home mom, she was active in the management of the family farm for over 41 years. She was a member of Foxhome Lutheran Church for 81 years. She was involved in a working Circle for 65 years which included monthly Bible study, held offices in Circle and taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Additionally, she was a member of her Homemakers Club and was a hospital volunteer.
Throughout her life, she loved spending time with her family and their four-day Fourth of July celebrations at the lake, playing cards, dancing, snowmobiling, sewing, crocheting, watching the Twins, reading and trying new recipes. She enjoyed spending winters in Arizona and living at The Village. Her pinochle groups brought her great enjoyment. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and neighbor, she will be forever missed.
