Lois Messer

Lois Irene Messer, 79, a resident of Fergus Falls, passed away Monday, October 26, 2009 at the Broen Memorial Home in Fergus Falls.  She was under the care of Lakeland Hospice for the last 2 ½ years. During most of that time she was able to remain at her home. She moved to the Broen Home in September of 2009. Preceding her in death was her husband, Ernest Messer Jr. Survivors include her children: Michael Messer of Fergus Falls, Jeffrey (Margret) Messer of Mandan, ND, and Robin (Andrew) Messer-Olson of Fergus Falls; a grandson, Kyle Messer of Mandan, ND; two sisters, Jean Garberg of Fergus Falls, and Claudia (Percy) Klovstad of Underwood; and a sister-in-law, Harriette Johnson of Fergus Falls. There will be a time to visit with family and friends from 3-5 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2009, at the Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls. Interment will be at Knollwood Memorial Gardens in Fergus Falls. Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls is in charge of arrangements.
