Lois Joyce Boettger

Lois Joyce Boettger, 49, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Sanford Health in Fargo, North Dakota.

Lois was born in Crookston, MN on March 19, 1964 the daughter of John R. and Joyce E. (Quernemoen) Boettger. She attended school in Fergus Falls and graduated with the Class of 1982. For the past 13 years she has cooked at the Viking Café in downtown Fergus Falls. She enjoyed her time working at the Viking and loved her co-workers.

Over the years she has enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, cooking for family and friends as well as time spent outdoors enjoying the sunshine. Spending time with her daughters and mother, whom she loved more than anything, has brought her great pleasure.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Boettger.

Survivors include her daughters; Alicia (Jeremiah) Boettger and Andrea Boettger both of Moorhead, her mother, Joyce Boettger of Fergus Falls, a brother, Gary (Mary) Boettger of Fergus Falls as well as a niece, Jessica Boettger of St Cloud, and nephews, Jonathan Boettger of Moorhead and Kevin Boettger of Fergus Falls, along with aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls.
Clergy: Chaplain Elizabeth Mahan
Interment: Knollwood Memorial Gardens in Fergus Falls
