Lisa Tommerdahl

Lisa Tommerdahl, 53, died Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at Lake Region Healthcare, Fergus Falls, surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born September 1, 1960, in Fergus Falls, the daughter of Regis and Beverly (McCrossin) Gatz Sr. She grew up in Fergus Falls and graduated from high school in 1979.

On May 3, 1980, she married Blake Tommerdahl in Fergus Falls. Lisa drove bus for the Head Start Program in Fergus Falls, was employed at F & M Plastics as a machine operator and was a caregiver for LSS.

She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls and was a caregiver for everyone who needed it. Her favorite hobbies were being a “Nana”, bowling, and chatting on the phone. She was always an encourager and wanted to hear about her friends and family. She also enjoyed her pets, especially Annabelle, her rescue dog, and her new puppy, Saddie.

Preceding her in death were her parents; grandparents; cousins and a nephew, Jesse Madson.

Survivors include her husband, Blake of Fergus Falls; children, Travis (Staisha) Tommerdahl, Shawn (Heidi) Tommerdahl and Tanya Tommerdahl all of Fergus Falls; grandchildren, Izabel, Aurora, Gavin, Abigail, Evelynn, Autumn, Andrew, Austin, Braxton, and Taelyn all of Fergus Falls; siblings Regis Gatz Jr. of Parkers Prairie, Tammy Madson of Fargo, ND, William Gatz of Fergus Falls, Carol (Roger) Turner of Missouri and Gaylynn of Nething, PA.

Memorials preferred to donors choice.

Visitation 4-6 pm Monday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church
Service 10:30 am Tuesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls
