Linda Mary Olson, or as her close friends and family called her “Miss Daisy”, passed away at her home on November 18, 2021, surrounded by family and friends.
She was born on September 4, 1948, in Flint, MI, to Raymond and Harriet (Sutherland) Hoffman. She was married in 1977 to Mike Olson and had four sons. She loved her career in healthcare taking care of the elderly. Once retired, her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren attending as many sporting events as possible. Her new pastime of screaming at the referees was a sight to see.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Wanda Sutherland; parents, Raymond and Harriet Hoffman; brother, Ray; sister, Loretta (Lori); brother-in-law, Francis (Fritz) Bobalek; nephew, Kevin J. Bobalek; and husband, Mike Olson.
Linda is survived by her children, James (Becky) Olson, Mark Olson, Phil (Stephanie) Olson, Matt (Jessica) Olson; grandsons, Mason, Brennan, Garrett and Colton (due in December 2021); sister, Candace Bobalek and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date.
