Lillian Lindstrom

Lillian Adeline Lindstrom, 86, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at the Broen Memorial Home in Fergus Falls.  She was born July 8, 1924, in Hazelton Township, Kittson County, Minnesota, the daughter of Axel and Carrie (Ristad) Anderson. She was baptized at Bronson in Kittson County, and confirmed at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Thompson Township of Kittson County. She attended Lake Bronson public school, and Kittson County rural schools. On August 29, 1942, she married Gordon Edward Lindstrom at the Teien Lutheran Church in Kennedy, Minnesota. Lillian was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls, and of the Fergus Falls Y’s Folks. Preceding her in death were her husband, Gordon; her sisters, Lyla and Grace; her brother, Ferdie; and her parents. Survivors include her children: Lois of St. Cloud, Kevin (Heidi) of Brooklyn Park, and Kari of Forest Lake; her grandsons, Thomas and Tyler of Brooklyn Park; her sister, Marion (Howard) Blehm of Bemidji; and two brothers, Robert (Marge) Anderson of Warroad and Vernon (Delores) Anderson of Minneapolis. There will be a visitation on Monday, March 14, 2011, from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home with a 2 p.m. prayer service with Reverend Kate Bruns officiating. Interment will be at Knollwood Memorial Gardens in Fergus Falls. The Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls is in charge of arrangements.
