Lillian R. Franke, 87, a resident of Fergus Falls died Friday, June 3, 2016 at Pioneer Cottages.
Lillian was born November 10, 1928, the daughter of Oscar and Ragna (Stolson) Elshaug in Underwood.
She graduated from Underwood High School in 1947. She married Thomas Possis in 1951 and worked as a secretary at Lambert’s and Burlington Northern Railroad in St. Paul. She married Willard Franke in 1973.
Lillian was involved with many organizations and Bible study groups. She loved ballroom dancing, bridge and shopping. She also loved to travel.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Thomas and Willard; four brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (John) Carter of Georgetown, TX; a son, Steve Possis of Minneapolis; her grandson, Aaron (Lisa) Possis, of Eagan; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Beckett Possis; a special family friend, Pat Hackl and her children; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation: One hour prior to the service
Memorial Service: 1:00 pm on Monday, June 6, 2016 at the Pioneer Care Celebration Center

Interment: Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis
