Lillian Lorraine Blondeau, 88, of Fergus Falls, died Friday, July 16, 2010, at Meritcare Hospital, Fargo, ND, as the result of injuries sustained in a car accident on July 10, 2010. Lillian was born on May 30, 1922, in Calumet, Michigan, to Michael and Danica Verbanac. She graduated from Calumet High School in 1941 and went to work for Michigan Bell. There she met Glenn Blondeau, the love of her life. They were married June 25, 1949, in Calumet, Michigan at St. John’s Catholic Church. The couple made their home in Fergus Falls where Lillian was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was Glenn’s secretary in addition to her hobbies of cooking, gardening and sewing. Preceding her in death were her husband of 51 years, Glenn; her parents; brothers, Michael, John, Matthew and Daniel, and sisters, Dianne, Amelia and Tess. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Marie of Gardiner, MT; two sons, Randall Paul of Fargo, ND, and Richard David (Linda) of Fergus Falls and grandchildren, Jaden and Jon Blondeau, nieces Colleen (Steve) Waller of Alexandria, Debra Blondeau of Minneapolis, and Rebecca (Lucian) Mesalis of New Jersey, and nephews Charles (Debbie) Blondeau of Fergus Falls, Jim (Bonnie) Blondeau of Ashby, and Steven Blondeau of Fergus Falls.
