LeRoy Rogholt, 60, of Fergus Falls, died Sunday, April 1, 2007, at his home. He was born November 5, 1946, in Fergus Falls, the son of Lloyd and Alice (Cookman) Rogholt. He grew up on a farm near Elizabeth and graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1964. Later he attended what is now known as Wadena Technical College, receiving electrical training. On November 11, 1967, he married Marilyn Lider at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. Over the years, LeRoy worked as an electrician for numerous companies throughout Minnesota. In addition, he established his own electrical business. In 1988 he became disabled and retired. In January of 1992, the family returned to the Fergus Falls area, living at their home on Rush Lake, moving into Fergus Falls in November of 1993. His most recent accomplishment was building his dream home with his sons, which they began in 2005. LeRoy loved his family, especially spending time with his granddaughter, Elise. He enjoyed traveling, woodworking, decorating and shopping for Christmas and was always willing to help someone with a project or just to sit and visit. His father preceded him in death in 1975. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; two sons, Rob (Jen) and James all of Fergus Falls; one granddaughter, Elise Rogholt; his mother, Alice of Fergus Falls; three brothers, Gary (Geri) of Moorhead, Wayne (Geraldine) of Henning and Dale (Judy) of Rice; five sisters-in-law, Vydell Aanderud of Michigan, ND, Darlene (Jerome) Langseth of Williston, ND, Ardyce (Duane) Bergeson of Bismarck, ND, Bev Teslow of Brooklyn Center, MN and Linda John of Wyoming, MN; three brothers-in-law, Darrel (Jerilyn) Lider of Dalton, Ken (June) Lider of Wheatland, WY and Wilbur (Barb) Lider of Anoka; numerous nieces and nephews and special family friends Stephen, Debi and Michael Tougas of Wadena. Memorials are preferred to Lakeland Hospice in lieu of flowers.
