Lavonne E. Doubrava, 84, of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls.
Lavonne Elizabeth Steffel was born February 28, 1938 to Lawrence Sr. and Laura (Julius) Steffel in Olivia, MN. She attended school in Olivia.
In 1962, Lavonne married Fred Doubrava in South St. Paul, MN.
Over the years she was employed at Fritz’s Candy Factory in Newport, MN, owned Ma’s Corner Gas Station in Clitherall, and then worked at Dairy Queen in Battle Lake. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, bird watching, reading, gardening, planting flowers, and playing games with her grandkids.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Fred; brothers and sisters; sons, Roger Gramley, Lawrence Gramley, and Charles Doubrava; daughter, Mary Marsh; son-in-law, Rick Marsh Sr, and four little angels.
Lavonne is survived by her children, Karen (Brian) Lovejoy of Deer Park, WI, Virginia (Keith) Kobilka of Lakeland, MN, and Wilma (Rick) Brimhall of Fergus Falls; grandchildren, Nathan, Christopher, Cortney, Rick Jr., Trisa (Sam), Crystal, Liz (Dave), Joshua, Tandy (Will), Kyle (Missy), Justin, Curtis (Heather), Keith, Luke, and Caleb; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Larry Jr. (Jeanie) Steffel, and sister-in-law, Monica Steffel.
