Larry Teberg

Larry Michael Teberg, age 78, was born on December 31, 1945 to William and Olga (Hanson) Teberg in Fergus Falls. He passed away on May 12, 2024, in Chaska, MN. He graduated from Pelican Rapids High School. Later he attended Wahpeton School of Science and graduated with a degree in Computer Repair. Larry was a member of New Life Lutheran Church in Rothsay.

After high school he enlisted in the Army from 1965 to 1968. On January 25, 1969, he married Rosalind Erickson in Rothsay. They lived in Moorhead, Rollag, and Rothsay. They were blessed with two children, Jason and Shelly. Jason died in a car accident in 2003.

Larry worked at Border States in Fargo, Watterud Farms, Rothsay Public School, and the Rothsay Store Front.

In 1981 he was involved in a very serious automobile accident and afterwards was not as active as he was before. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and doing woodworking projects. The last few years he has enjoyed reading and doing Sudoku puzzles and other games. He enjoyed going to see Shelly and Mark and spending time with them and the grandsons and going to some of their activities.

He was preceded in death by his parents; mother and father-in-law; son Jason; brothers and sisters-in-law Richard (Sharon), David (Loretta), and Robert (Doris) Teberg; sister-in-law, Ruth Hansen; brother-in-law, Don Ruud, and niece, Tracy Johnson.

Larry is survived by hie wife, Rosalind and daughter, Shelly (Mark) Walter; grandchildren, Jason, Grant, and Blake Walter; sister, Lavonne Ruud; sisters and brothers-in-law, Roberta (Ralph) Ouse, Rebecca (Duane) Slusher, and Lorin Hansen, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2024 at New Life Lutheran Church in Rothsay, with visitation one-hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment: Hamar Cemetery, Rothsay, MN
