Larry C. Denbrook, 50, of St. Cloud, formerly of Fergus Falls, left his earthly home to be with the Lord on January 10, 2009. Larry was born in Fergus Falls, on January 24, 1958, the son of Arnold and Ardis (Finkelson) Denbrook. He served in the United States Army in 1975. On August 11, 1978, he married Debra Sterger, with whom he had two children, Stacy and Chris. Larry was employed in the Fergus Falls area until 1997, at which time he became disabled. On March 25, 2003, he married Sandy. They lived in Fergus Falls until July of 2005, at which time he moved to St. Cloud to be closer to his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and friends. He loved to put car models together, talk on the telephone, drive around town on his scooter, meet new people as he went, be around motorcycles, spend time with his roommates and the Bond Slaves Biker Ministry Group. He lived a simple life and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Sandy, of Fergus Falls; his daughter, Stacy Denbrook of St. Cloud; his son, Christopher Denbrook of St. Cloud; three grandsons, Caine, Dane and Kyler; the mother of his children, Debra Denbrook; a sister, Nancy Yarwood of Aurora, CO; four brothers, Mark, of Denver, CO, Roger of Mound, Keith (Laura), of Fergus Falls and Jason of Chanhassen along with many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2009, followed by a service at 2 p.m. at Olson Funeral Home Chapel, Fergus Falls. Burial will be in United Church of Christ Cemetery, Fergus Falls. A memorial service for Larry will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 2009, at “The Place of Hope” in St. Cloud.
