Kimberly Ann (Wallace) Anderson, 55, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at her home under the care of Lakeland Hospice and her family and also the special care of her mother, Sharon and her son, Bob.
Kimberly was born on September 24, 1960, to Richard L. Scott and Sharon Mack Murphy in Minneapolis. She attended school in Elk River and graduated from Elk River High School in 1978.
On July 23, 1988, she married Mark Anderson at First Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. Kim was a stay-at-home mom and enjoyed raising her four children. She also waitressed part-time at the Family Diner in Fergus Falls and was a co-owner of Country Glass, along with her husband, Mark.
Kim enjoyed crocheting, making crafts, cross stitch, hiking, fishing, country dancing, her cat Yogi Bear, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; a sister, Valerie Scott; and her father-in-law, Darol Anderson.
Kim is survived by her husband, Mark Anderson of Fergus Falls; her children, Bob (Heather) Schwantz of Hamilton, GA, Chuck (Megan) Schwantz of Elbow Lake, Sherry (fiance, Justin Dathe) of Moorhead, and Mark Anderson, Jr., of Fergus Falls; her grandchildren, Blake Pelzl, Hayden, Rowan, Rayce Schwantz and Gunner Schwantz, who will be arriving in June; her father, Richard (Bette) Scott of Grand Rapids; her mother, Sharon (James) Goble of Watertown, SD; her sisters, Donna (Lynn) Johnson and Becky Nelson; her brothers, Elroy Edenshaw and Gary Goble; her mother-in-law, Allegra Anderson of Fergus Falls; and numerous extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
