Kenneth Tollerson

Kenneth W. Tollerson, Jr., 64, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Saturday, November 17, 2007. Kenneth was born on April 4, 1943, in Fergus Falls, the son of Kenneth and Lorena (Evavold) Tollerson. He attended school and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1962. After high school, he became a Merchant Marine and entered the United States Navy in November of 1964. In 1967, following his duty in Vietnam, Kenneth returned to Fergus Falls. In July of 1970 he began working with the City of Fergus Falls. He then went to work with the Park and Maintenance Department in 1980. After a work related accident he transferred to the landfill in 1994 and worked there until his retirement in January of 2004. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Ashby American Legion and the Fergus Falls V. F. W. Throughout his adult life he enjoyed travelling. Preceding him in death was his father, Kenneth L. Tollerson Sr., and his grandparents: Peder and Victoria Evavold, and Lyle and Mabel Tollerson. Survivors include his mother, Lorena of Fergus Falls; two sisters, Kathleen (Ralph) Stinar of Fergus Falls, Victoria (Henry) Evavold-Martin of Elizabeth; four brothers: Lyle Peter (Marlys), Lowell (Nancy) Tollerson, and Steven Tollerson all of Fergus Falls and Victor (Vonnie) Evavold of Ashby. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church. Service: 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls Clergy:     Reverends Marv Abrahamson and D.
