Keith Rude, 63, of Ashby, died Monday, September 7, 2015, at The Ashby Living Center, in Ashby, surrounded by his family.
Keith Wayne Rude was born on February 26, 1952, in Hazen, ND, to Kalmer and Mayme (Enger) Rude. He attended school in North Dakota and Ashby.
Keith worked as a carpenter most of his life. He will be remembered for his love of music and generous heart. Keith also had a love of animals and often talked of his dog, Jake, whom he greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kalmer and Mayme; five brothers, Kenny, Howard, Leo, Gene and Norman; and two sisters, Recal and Violet.
He is survived by a son, Jeremy Williams (Jennifer) of Fergus Falls; two granddaughters, Jenna and Jillian of Fergus Falls; a brother, Calmer (Diana) Rude of Broken Arrow, OK; two sisters, June (Mike) Bjornson of Dalton and Marion Rund of Fergus Falls; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial Service: 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at the Ashby Living Center
Interment: St. Olaf Lutheran Cemetery, rural Dalton, MN
