Keith Milo Nash, 54, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Friday, August 19, 2011, at the Lakeland Hospice House in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. He was born September 18, 1956, in Breckenridge, Minnesota, the son of Kenneth and Mary (Faust) Nash. He graduated from high school in Colfax, North Dakota in 1974. He then attended the Association Free Lutheran Bible School in Plymouth, graduating in 1976, and North Dakota State School of Science, graduating in 1978. On June 5, 1977, he married Kendra Broten in Roseau, Minnesota. Keith was employed with Wikstrom Telephone in Karlstad, Minnesota for 20 years, from 1981 – 2001, based in Lake of the Woods County. He then worked for Park Region Telephone, Otter Tail TelCom in Underwood from 2001 to 2008, retiring when cancer halted his career. He was a member of Nazarene Church, Awanas, Naz Praise Team, and was an elementary basketball coach. Most important to him was being a dad and spending time with his children. Keith enjoyed hunting, fishing, telling jokes, farming, rook, games, singing, and playing piano and various instruments. Preceding him in death were his grandparents and an infant brother. Survivors include his wife, Kendra Nash of Fergus Falls; his children: Kenneth (Maggie) Nash of Grand Forks, ND, Kyle (Nicole) Nash of Shoreview, MN, Karsten (Kim) Nash of Fergus Falls, and Kara Nash at home; the sweetest granddaughter, Makenna Ruth Nash; his parents, Kenneth and Mary Nash of Colfax, ND; his siblings: Pastor Paul (Laurie) Nash of Brooklyn Park, MN, Don (Penny) Nash of Lidgerwood, ND, Marlow (Ranee) Nash of Colfax, ND, Kermit (Angela) Nash of Rogers, MN, and Marge (Arden) Jacobson of Coon Rapids, MN; a sister-in-law, Peggy (Doug) Johnson of Sacred Heart, MN; brother-in-law, Steven (Donna) Broten of Prinsburg, MN; his father and mother-in-law Kenneth and Ruby Broten of Fergus Falls and Roseau; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great nieces and great nephews.
