Kathryn Janet Webb, 73, died Sunday, February 15, 2009, with her family by her side after a long, hard battle with cancer. A resident of Fergus Falls, she was born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania on May 7, 1935, the daughter of Thomas and Anna (Colegrove) Hall. She grew up in Wellsboro, graduating from Wellsboro High School in 1953. Kathryn married her high school sweetheart, Richard Webb at the Methodist Church in Wellsboro on November 20, 1954. The mother of two, she raised their children in a military family while her husband served in the U. S. Army. They were stationed in various places all over the world, which fueled her passion for travel. Kathryn worked as a school cafeteria manager in Atlanta, GA for 12 years. Her most recent position was the one she loved the most, working with her daughter at T & A Pet Boarding and Grooming for the last 14 years. She loved working with Belinda, washing and brushing the dogs, and sewing dog scarves. Kathryn was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Fergus Falls. On any given day you could find Kathryn doing one of her favorite things - fishing with her son-in-law, Neal. When Kathryn wasn’t out on the boat she could be found tending to her beautiful flower garden. She was a strong, independent, adventurous woman. She was a wonderful mom and grandmother. Preceding her in death were her husband, Richard Webb; her parents; a sister, Ruth Snyder; and a brother, Robert Hall. Survivors include two children: Craig Webb of Fayetteville, NC, and Belinda (Neal) Urlacher of Fergus Falls; three grandchildren: Brian Urlacher of Fergus Falls, Kendra Urlacher of Puyallup, WA, and Justin (Jessica) Webb of Fort Wayne, IN; and a brother, Donald (Leda) Hall of Wellsboro, PA.
