Kairn Lewis, 58, of Fergus Falls, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018, under the care of Sanford Hospital, Fargo. Kairn was born in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Richard and Carol Harmon.
In 1996 she married Gregory Bertana. They resided in Wisconsin for a time prior to moving to Minnesota.
In 2012, she married the love of her life, Robert Lewis.
Kairn loved church, nature, demo derbys, tractor pulls, county fairs. She loved babies and critters of all kinds, especially horses, bunnies and dogs.
Before her health concerns forced her to leave the workforce, Kairn worked at several jobs. The job she loved was being a school bus driver.
Kairn flies with her angels, her beloved son, Christopher and her parents and grandniece, Lilly. She will get to meet her child that she didn't get to see in this lifetime, Jessica Lewis.
Kairn leaves behind her husband Robert (Bob) Lewis, her two biological children, Samantha and Allie Bertana, her two children adopted through love, Virginia (Ginny) Rausch and Samuel Lewis, and her grandson Ian Rausch. She was loved by many family and friends, including her siblings Kathy Nolan and Wanda (Steve) Reents and her nieces Stacy and Maddie.
God only takes the best ones. He leaves the rest to grow.
A memorial service is being planned for December 23, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Fergus Falls Seventh Day Adventist Church.
