Judy Lee Morris, a resident of Fergus Falls, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the age of 66.
She was born February 12, 1948 to Gordon and Bernice (Sedahl) Greuel in Fargo, ND and graduated from Fargo South High School in 1966. While growing up in Fargo she met her lifelong best friend Patricia Anderson.
In June 1968 she married Dennis Morris in Fargo. They had twin boys, Jon and Tim. During their marriage the couple lived several places, including Fargo, Marshall, Omaha and settling in Hastings, MN in 1978, where they raised their sons. Judy was able to continue her post high school aspirations and attended Inver Hills Community College. This allowed her to continue her career, in 1984. She began working for an insurance company in Saint Paul for a number of years. She was divorced in 1986. She recently moved to Fergus Falls in 2012. While living in Fergus Falls, she met new friends and enjoyed working at SunMart. She enjoyed living close to her sons and loved her home along the river.
Judy successfully beat breast cancer in the early 90’s. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, bird watching, sewing and being outdoors. She also enjoyed going to the library and learning new things, such as Astronomy and Photography. Above all things, Judy enjoyed spending time with her family and was very proud of her twin boys and their families.
Preceding her in death were her parents and sister, Pauline Brett.
Judy is survived by her children, Jon (Liza) Morris of Underwood, Tim (Susan) Morris of Maple Grove; four grandchildren, Ryan, Jacob, Shannon and Tanner; one great-grandson, Blake; brother, Terry Greuel of Hastings; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: One hour prior to service at the church.
