Judith “Judy” Ann Carr, 84, of Fergus Falls, died Thursday, February 6, 2014, at the Broen Memorial Home in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
Judy was born the eldest child of James and Georgia Cauble, August 27, 1929, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
She spent more than 50 years in North Dakota and Minnesota where she dedicated her life to being a homemaker and a loving mom.
Judy was a gentle and caring individual who relished the simple joys in life: window shopping, comfort food, and good books. She served as a helper and a Sunday School teacher at Zion Lutheran Church in Amor. Judy was employed for several years at the Battle Lake Nursing Home and More 4 grocery store in Fergus Falls.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters; a brother and an infant daughter, Deborah Kay Carr.
Survivors include her sons, Bruce (Terri) Carr of Ottertail, Brad (Roxane) Carr, of Ottertail, Brian (Kari) Carr of Fergus Falls and Steve (Sheila) Carr of Forest Lake; a daughter, Tamara “Mara” MacKay of Ironwood, Michigan; 12 grandchildren, Eric Carr, Adam, Carr, Jacob Carr, Stacia (Andrew) Miller, Jared (Erin) Carr, Kirby (Annie) Carr, Brandon (Liz) Carr, Shea Carr, Quinn Carr and Tova, Saige and Aiden Carr-Stratton; seven great-grandchildren and her brother, Jimmy Cauble of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Memorials are preferred.
Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday
Service: 1pm Wednesday at the Olson Funeral Home Chapel, Fergus Falls

Interment: Trinity Cemetery, Battle Lake, MN
