Joyce Harig, 75, of Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at her home.
She was born July 19, 1939, in Bottineau, ND, the daughter of Lawrence and Myrtle (Estenson) Tuttle. She grew up in Bottineau and graduated from Bottineau High School.
On July 18, 1957, she married Tom Harig II, in Grand Forks, ND. They made their home in Grand Forks, ND and moved to Fergus Falls in 1972 where Joyce was a bookkeeper for Welding Supplies and Fire Equipment for 30 years. She retired in 2002.
Joyce was a member of Bethel Bible Church in Mentor, MN. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, sewing, antiquing, Christmas and Thanksgiving with family and “Date night with Hubby” – going out for supper every Friday night for 40 years.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Larry Tuttle and Jerry Tuttle; a son, Timothy John Harig; a daughter, Tammy Jo Harig; granddaughter, Nicole Rae Harig; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Grace and Tom Harig I.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Harig II; children, Tom Harig III of Wahpeton, Toni Harig of Glenwood Springs, CO, Todd (Charla) Harig of Fargo, ND and Tanya Harig of Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Tom (Larisa) Harig IV, Mike (Kayla) Harig, Chris (Amanda) Harig, Jessica Baker, Jennifer Baker, Jacob Baker, and Jeremiah Baker; great-grandchildren, Thomas V, Jaxon, Jayden, Owen, Landen, and Myla Harig, Doc and Bella Cloud and Mikey Baker; siblings, Jean (Roger) Hall of Bottineau, ND, Dick Tuttle of Fargo, ND, Iris (Darrell) Roths of Araphoe, CO and Linda Phillips of Brookings, SD.
