Jose Rodriguez-Carrillo

Jose “Ricky” Rodriguez-Carrillo, 18, a resident of Rothsay, died Sunday, April 19, 2009 in Rothsay.  He was born January 15, 1991, in Oregon City, Oregon. He attended Rothsay Public School from 1997 to the present, and would have graduated on May 24, 2009. Ricky was a bright, fun loving, young man who was looking forward to starting his journey to becoming an FBI agent. He loved baseball, fishing, and hanging out with his family and friends. He will forever be missed by those whose lives he touched. Preceding him in death were his grandmother, Jean Carrillo, and his papa, Jose Cortez. He is survived by his mother, Maria Willits; stepfather, Dana Willits; his father, Jose Rodriguez; his siblings, Marisol, Jesse and Adriana; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 24 at 2 p.m. at the Rothsay Public School Si Flan Memorial Gymnasium. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Grina/Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls is in charge of arrangements.
