John Darrin Ray, 49, a resident of Fergus Falls, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at his home.
John was a 1982 graduate of Fergus Falls High School, then worked construction and demolition for over 25 years. He also managed a sober house in Minneapolis for 9 years.
John enjoyed fishing, painting, bird-watching, refinishing furniture, and he loved music, especially Led Zeppelin.
John is survived by his daughter, Brittney Doepke (Ray) of Fargo, ND; brother, Patrick Ray of Fergus Falls, MN; nephews, Isaac Ray of Fergus Falls, MN and Zach Karels of Fergus Falls, MN; niece, Casey Ray of Fargo, ND; cousins, Wes and Jane Kullum family of Denver, CO; Loren Kullum of Texas; Sheryl and Rick Sletton family of Fergus Falls, MN; Brett Rheim family of Fergus Falls, MN; Vicky Johnson of Fergus Falls, MN; and many other family members.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
