Jody Wilde

Jody A. Wilde, 63, of Elizabeth, died Monday, June 3, 2024 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.

Jody Ann (Larson) Wilde was born April 6, 1961 in Fergus Falls to Harold and Donna (Musser) Larson.

In 1979 she graduated from Rothsay Public School where she played volleyball and was named to the all-state high school volleyball team. She furthered her education at Moorhead Technical College and graduated in 1981 with an administrative degree.

Jody was united in marriage to Gary Wilde on September 21, 1984 in Sidney, MT. She was employed as an administrative assistant with the ASCS District. The majority of her career she was an IT specialist for USDA/NRCS until her retirement in 2021.

She enjoyed quilting, coloring, puzzles, reading, baking, photography and gardening. Jody loved spending time with her grandkids and sharing some of her hobbies. She was a member of the Elizabeth Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for a number of years.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Donna Larson; father-in-law, Lester Wilde; sister-in-law, Laurie Wilde; brothers-in-law, Craig Zimmerman and Danny Kenyon; nephew, Christopher Grunewald and great-nephew, Westin Grunewald.

Jody is survived by her husband, Gary of Elizabeth; children, Darrin (Kelli Graff) of Elizabeth and Shannon (Chris) Bilden of Erhard; grandchildren, Easton and Presley Wilde, Kailey Graff-Wilde and Berklee Bilden.; father, Harold Larson of PioneerCare of Fergus Falls; sisters, Peggy Zimmerman of Rothsay, Robin (Mitch) Binstock of Dickinson, ND, Bonny (Paul) Jensen of Wahpeton, ND, and Dawn (David) Froslie of Pelican Rapids; mother-in-law, Darlene Wilde of Elizabeth; brothers-in-law, Larry Wilde of Burnsville and Rick Wilde of Elizabeth; sisters-in-law, Linda Schultz of Rothsay, Diane Pederson of Erhard, Luella Wilde of Elizabeth, Candace (Greg) Langseth of Deerwood, Debra Kenyon of Erhard, Wanda (Mike) Weinhandl of Park Rapids and June Ballard of Rothsay; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Olson Funeral and Cremation Chapel in Fergus Falls with a visitation one-hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment: St. John Cemetery, Elizabeth, MN
