JoAnne Anderson

JoAnne (Mrs. Joslyn) Anderson, 74, of Fergus Falls, died, Saturday, January 29, 2011, at Lake Region Healthcare. She was born November 25, 1936, to Myron and Esther (Unruh) Moseng at their home in Pelican Lake Township, rural Ashby.  She attended and graduated from Ashby High School and attended Jamestown College. On June 22, 1957, she married Joslyn Anderson at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ashby.  JoAnne worked at a variety of jobs, including waiting tables, secretarial work for the High School Principal in Fergus Falls, study hall supervisor at the Underwood School system, an insurance adjuster secretary in Fergus Falls and also worked at the Fergus Falls VFW.  Her main focus was always caring for her family. JoAnne was the church organist at Aurdal Lutheran for 50 years and also played for many funerals and weddings.  She enjoyed playing softball, bowling, snowmobiling and collecting coins.  She always had a garden and loved to cook and bake. Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, Joslyn, who died November 23, 2009. Survivors include five children, Terry of Fergus Falls, Timothy of Dawson, Susan (Scott) Stroud of Fergus Falls, Sandy (Kevin) Van Dyke of Moorhead, and Stacy (David) Boese of Elizabeth; nine grandchildren, Brad, Kyle and Keleigh Van Dyke, Kendra Ackerman, Jesse (Amy) Anderson, Amber Boese, Mikayla Stroud, and Sean and Adam Frandsen; a great-grandson, Teagen Joslyn Anderson; a sister, Judy (Gary) Larson of Brandon; her mother-in-law, Edna Anderson of Fergus Falls; sister-in-law, Lorraine Isaacson of Billings, MT; brother-in-law, Eldor Kugler of Erhard along with numerous nieces and nephews.
