Jerome B. Zeimet, Dad, Grandpa, and Great Grandpa, age 78, of Fergus Falls, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 after a short battle with small cell cancer that took away the use of his legs in April.
Jerry was born on May 20, 1937, in St. Paul to Ervin and Ann (Kostolnik) Zeimet. He raised his family in Roseville and was a tile setter by trade.
Jerry was a champion skeet shooter, who also loved fishing, hunting, golfing and NASCAR driver Tony Stewart.
His family would like to thank the Pelican Valley Health Care Center staff and our friends Dwayne Hirsch and Melanie Carlson, who did so much for our dad while he was ill, borrowing a wheel chair van and ramp to load Jerry up and take him fishing, out to eat and anywhere else he would want to go.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Father Richard, Bob and Larry.
Jerry is survived by his three sons, Daniel (Brenda) Zeimet, David (Melissa) Zeimet and Paul (Amy) Zeimet; five granddaughters, Elizabeth (Ben) Redden, Emily, Holly, Abby and Alice; two great-grandchildren, Bentley and Rylee Redden; two brothers, Bill (Molly) Zeimet of Roseville and Tom (Janet) Zeimet of Roseville; a sister, Roseanne (Jeff) Green of Roseville and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Pelican Valley Health Care Center.
