Jeanne L. Bendickson

Jeanne Louise Bendickson, 52, a resident of Fergus Falls, died peacefully Monday, October 20, 2014 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND, surrounded by her family after a long battle with diabetes.

She was born on August 1, 1962 to LeVerne and Marie (Stich) Bendickson in White Sands, New Mexico and shortly after moved to Henning. Jeanne and her family eventually moved to Fergus Falls where she went to school and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1980.

After high school she worked at the RTC as a HST for several years. Jeanne met the love of her life, Butch Loomer and together they farmed and custom combined, traveling from OK to Canada for many years. Jeanne was a country girl at heart and loved every aspect of where she got to spend her life, in the country.

Jeanne enjoyed gardening and had a passion for cooking. She had a great love for Boxer dogs and loved decorating for Christmas. She had the heart of a child and was a very generous person. She especially loved being an auntie to her nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents; parents, Marie Muchow, who died in 2009, LeVerne Bendickson, who died in 1966; beloved sister, Lori, who died in 1995; numerous aunts and uncles; and her beloved boxer dogs.

She is survived by her lifelong partner, Butch Loomer of Fergus Falls; siblings, Cindy (Rod) Snow of Farmington, NM, Pam (Steve) Hedstrom of Richville, Daryl Muchow of Fergus Falls, Dale (Wendy) Muchow of Casselton, ND; nieces and nephews, Austin (Nichole) Snow, Allyssa (Josh) Taves, Zey Hedstrom, Ethan and Noah Muchow. She is also survived by Butch’s large extended family, along with aunts, uncles and cousins.
