Jeanette N. Lindquist, 72, a resident of rural Fergus Falls, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 14, 2007, at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born May 14, 1935, at the family farm, rural Underwood, the daughter of Agnes (Anderson) and Ole Wold. She grew up in rural Underwood, attending Barnhard School, and graduated from Underwood High School in 1953. She was baptized and confirmed at Tingvold Lutheran Church. In 1955 she started working for Arneson Insurance Agency and continued until her retirement in May of 2007 after 52 years of dedicated service. She loved her job and enjoyed the customers she served. On August 31, 1963 she married Andy Lindquist at Tingvold Lutheran Church. The couple moved to Dane Prairie Township, rural Fergus Falls, in 1969. Jeanette will be remembered for her patience, understanding and caregiving. She held a special love for her family - especially her "BEAU-TI-FUL" grandsons, Cody and Kyle. Jeanette was known as "Grandma" to numerous neighborhood children. She found joy in reaching out and giving to others. Even during her illness she was an inspiration to everyone. Jeanette was a member of the Tordenskjold Free Lutheran Church and a former Sunday School teacher. Preceding her in death were her husband, Andy, in 1999; sisters Clara Johnson and Lorraine (Selvin) Klaksvik; brothers Arnold and John Wold; her parents, and two infant brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Joyce (Joe) Anderson, her son, Peter Lindquist, and grandsons, Cody and Kyle Anderson all of rural Fergus Falls; two sisters: Doris (Willis) Schoening and Alice Aanden, of Fergus Falls; sisters-in-law Hope (Harlan) Johnson of Fergus Falls and Eunice Wold of Ulen; three brothers-in-law: Harry (Kathy) Lindquist Jr. of rural Fergus Falls, John (Michelle) Lindquist of rural Dalton, and Carl Johnson of Fergus Falls; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Visitation: 5-7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service and one hour prior to the service at the church.
