Jean Weller

Jean (Mattson) Weller, 42, of Battle Lake, died Saturday, June 21, 2008, at the Lake Region Hospital, Fergus Falls. She was born July 23, 1965 in St. Cloud, the daughter of Louis and Rosella (“Rosie” Kron) Terwey. She grew up in St. Joseph, Minnesota and attended school at St. Cloud Apollo High School, graduating in 1983. Following high school, she attended the University of Minnesota, graduating from there in 1988. In May of 1987, Jean married Michael Mattson. Together they created Key Transportation and she had her first four children while living in Minneapolis. Michael passed away in February of 1999. Jean married Jeffery Weller in March of 2000. After having two more children, the family moved to Battle Lake, Minnesota. Jeannie’s life centered around the joy of being a wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, Jeffery and six children, Louis Mattson, Anthony Mattson, Alec Mattson, Hannah Mattson, Shawn Weller and Ryan Weller. Memorial service 11:00 am Tuesday, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Battle Lake Clergy Father Nicholas Brown Inurnment St. Joseph Cemetery, St. Joseph, MN Olson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls, is in charge of arrangements.
