Jason B Wentler

Jason Wentler, died Monday, May 27, 2019, at the age of 53, at Wentlerville on the Otter Tail River.

He was born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, to James and Jolene Wentler on March 8, 1966. He attended and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1984. He went on to play college hockey where they won the Division 2 Hockey Championship for UW Stevens Point in 1989.

Jason enjoyed watching all sports including hockey, softball, football, and racing. He kept track of the Minnesota Gophers, Vikings, Wild and Twins.

Preceding him in death were his brothers, Joel “Willy” and Jess “Chubs”, and his parents, Jim and Jolene.

He is survived by his brothers, Jay of Fergus Falls and Jody (Teresa) of Oak Grove; sister, Jill of Fergus Falls; nieces and nephews; special friend, Vicki Vance, and his dog Abby Rose.

There will be a time of visiting and fellowship on Friday, May 31, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Olson Funeral Home, in Fergus Falls.
