James “Jim” Peasley, 84, a resident of Erhard, died Monday, August 11, 2014 at Pelican Valley Nursing Home in Pelican Rapids.
He was born January 25, 1930 to Ralph and Emma (Nelson) Peasley in Otter Tail County and attended school at District 187.
Jim loved to fish and tinker in his shop. He also enjoyed watching church on TV.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Ralph and Emma; brother, David; sister-in-law, Lavern.
Jim is survived by his brothers, Lloyd (Rose) of Battle Lake and Roy (Verna) of Barnesville; six nieces and nephews, Marie, Lorrie, Larry, Danny, Ernest, Verlynn along with extended family.
A graveside service with be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 15, 2014 at Tonseth Lutheran Cemetery in Erhard.
