James B. Johnson, 56, of Fergus Falls, died on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at the Minnesota State Veterans Home in Fergus Falls.
He was born on August 25, 1959, in Moorhead, the son of William and Marion (Norman) Johnson. James graduated from Fargo South High School. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Turkey for a time and was discharged in 1981 from Fitzimouis Army Hospital. James moved back to the Fergus Falls area after discharge.
On October 12, 1985 he married Patricia Cluckey in Barnesville. They resided in Barnesville until 1988, at which time they moved to Fergus Falls. From 1993 to 1995, they ran Wee Villa Resort. James was a devoted husband to his wife Patty.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Cluckey) Johnson; parents, William and Marion Johnson; sister, Judy Johnson; brothers, Norman and Allen Johnson.
Survivors include his brother, David Johnson of Fergus Falls and Larry (Margery) Johnson of Colorado Springs, Co.; four nieces; one nephew and four great nieces.
Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Minnesota Veterans Home Chapel in Fergus Falls
