Jacqueline Jean Hiedeman, 81, formerly of Fergus Falls, died Wednesday, September 12, 2007, at the St. Francis Health Care Campus in Breckenridge, Minnesota. She was born November 8, 1925, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, the daughter of John S. and Ethel (Willet) Johnson. She began grade school in Fergus Falls, and continued her education at the country school near Doran. On April 2, 1942, she married Earl Hiedeman in Breckenridge. The couple farmed in Sunnyside Township, where Jacqueline was a homemaker and caregiver to her children, especially her son, Bruce. She also was a talented seamstress and cake decorator, and was a licensed insurance agent. They retired in 1987 and moved to Deer Lake. In 1999 they moved to Fergus Falls, where she was a resident at the Mill Street Residence and the Pioneer Cottages. Most recently she resided at the Pioneer Cottages in Breckenridge. Jacqueline was a member of the Doran Presbyterian Ladies Aid and the Sunnyside Homemakers. She enjoyed swimming, fishing, cake decorating, sewing, woodworking crafts, crossword puzzles, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Earl; her son, Bruce; grandsons Eric and John; and her brother Calmer Johnson. Survivors include her sons: Jerry (Diane) Hiedeman of Tumwater, WA, Tom (Holly) Hiedeman of Underwood, MN, John Hiedeman of Breckenridge, MN and Bryan (JoAnne) Hiedeman of Fergus Falls; her daughter, Jill Hiedeman of Breckenridge; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister, Louise Snyder and a brother, Bud Johnson, both of Shelton, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation: 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with a 2:30 p.m. prayer service and continues one hour prior to the service at the church.
