Helen M. Freier, 95, a resident of Breckenridge, MN, died Monday, January 26, 2015 at St. Catherine’s Living Center in Wahpeton, ND.
She was born November 12, 1919 to Fred and Emma (Krusser) Henning in Miltona, Minnesota. Helen grew up and attended school in Miltona.
On June 9, 1938 she was united in marriage to Paul Freier in Miltona. To this union, one daughter was born, Erma. Helen and Paul farmed in Miltona where they raised their daughter.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.
Helen enjoyed baking bread, gardening, and especially loved her grandchildren and enjoyed taking them fishing as often as she could.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Paul; sister, Selma; three brothers, Norman, Lloyd and Melvin.
She is survived by her daughter, Erma (Jerry) Wallace of Campbell; three grandchildren, Alan Wallace of Breckenridge, Brenda (David) Bangs of Brookings, SD, Jerry (Jessica) Paul of Aberdeen, SD; eight great-grandchildren.
