Helen T. Adams, 92, a resident of Dalton, died Saturday June 15, 2013, at the Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
She was born January 12, 1921, in Dalton, Minnesota, the daughter of Hans A. and Tillie (Brenden) Rude. She grew up in Dalton, attending school there. She worked at Boeing Aircraft in Seattle during the war, where she met her husband.
On August 28, 1943 she married Robert Adams in Seattle. They made their home in Walla Walla, Washington, until moving to Dalton, Minnesota in 1959.
Helen loved to crochet, was an avid cook, and enjoyed singing and music. She was a member of Our Saviors-Ten Mile Lake Lutheran Church and it’s Ladies Aid. She was also involved in the Lake Region Pioneer Threshermen's Association, and the local homemakers club.
Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, and eight brothers, Alvin, Oscar, Goodwin, Herb, Calmer, LeRoy, Ralph, and an infant Justin.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley (E.J.) Messa of Frankfort NY, and Darla Adams of Dalton; two sons, Gary (Vikki) Adams of Ashby, and Merlin (Victoria) Adams of Blaine; four grandchildren: Jarrod (Trisha) Adams, Aaron (Sina) Adams, Amy (Erick) Chi, and Joseph Adams; four great-grandchildren: Annie, Jackson, Bryce, and Elyse; one brother, Bob (Verna) Rude of Dalton; a sister, Arlene (Cliff) Weisser of Battle Lake; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 22, 2013 at the Our Saviors – Ten Mile Lake Lutheran Church, Dalton
