Hazel Kaine

Hazel (Martinson) Kaine, 91, formerly of Rothsay, died Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Chandler Hall in Newtown, Pennsylvania. She was born on January 15, 1921in Rothsay, Minnesota, the daughter of Gilbert and Minnie Martinson. She grew up in the Rothsay area. On September 25, 1945 she married James Kaine. Hazel was an employee of Nabisco for nearly 30 years. Hazel enjoyed gardening and traveling. Preceding her in death were her husband, James, her parents, a sister, Louella Bjorklund, and brothers, Oscar and Chester. She was the devoted mother of Mary (Dennis) Biros, Maureen (Bruce) Wright, Debbie (Terry) Johnson, and Michael (Marianna). She had 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Clarice Grina, and Marcella Nettestad, and brother, Charles Martinson.
