Harvey James Triepke, 74 of Battle Lake, passed away June 4, 2019 at his home.
Harvey was born to Edward and Fern (Noble) Triepke on September 4, 1944 in Jud, North Dakota. Harvey grew up in Fergus Falls where he graduated high school in 1963. Harvey worked for the City of Fergus Falls for 42 years, most of those years he was the water plant superintendent.
Harvey and Mary were united in marriage on August 20, 1989 at their home near Broken Down Dam, where they lived until 1999 when they built their home on Silver Lake.
Harvey was an avid racquetball player at the YMCA and loved Pickleball, and dancing with his wife.
He loved his life on Silver Lake in Battle Lake, MN and winters in Mesa, AZ. Harvey loved spending time outside mowing, and manicuring his lawn. He loved running his popcorn business for ten years, “Boppa’s Popcorn.”
Harvey is survived by his wife, Mary of thirty years, his children, Robin Harris of Laguna Niguel, CA, Marcy (Warren) Weber of Swanville, Brian Triepke of St. Cloud, Kristi Pamperin of Blaine, Kari Pryor, Reno, NV, Becky (Trevor) Marohl of St. Cloud; ten grandchildren, Brice, Xavier, Jordan, Josh, Emily, Megan, Ella, Ben, Zack, and Sully; mother-in-law, Fran Kremer of Buffalo; sister Jolene Beck of Fergus Falls. Also surviving are many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and many beloved friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Fern, and his brother Dennis Triepke.
Visitation: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2019 at the Olson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls, MN.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Battle Lake, MN.
