Harry Hunteman

Harry S. Hunteman, 60, of Dalton, died Sunday, May 22, 2011, at the Broen Memorial Home in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. He was born September 11, 1950, in Echo, MN, the son of Ervin and Helga (Helgeson) Hunteman. He grew up in Breckenridge, and graduated from high school there in 1968. He served with the U.S. Marines from January 1969 until November 1977, being stationed in North Carolina, California and Japan. He also was in the Army National Guard until 1982. Through the years he drove truck for several companies including Single Source Transport, Christensen Farms, West Side Transport, Cox Transportation, Q Carriers and most recently Cliff Viessman Trucking. Harry enjoyed his friends in Clements and Morgan MN, spending time with his family, fishing and NASCAR racing. He was a member of the Ashby American Legion. Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters, Rita Paasch and Evelyn Kruse, and brothers, Harvey Hunteman, Robert Hunteman, LuVerne Hustad and Harold Hustad. Survivors include his children, Tara Lindquist of Dalton, Michelle (Jesse) Lund of Morgan and Mitchell Hunteman of Fergus Falls; grandchildren, Kaicie Lindquist of Dalton and Keygan, Kiera and Landen Lund of Morgan; two sisters, Lynette Block of Fargo and Mary Anderson of Breckenridge; one brother, Eddie Hustad of Blaine; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the Morgan Lions Club, Morgan, Minnesota There will be a private family Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis Assistance provided by Olson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls
