Harriet Nelson, 87, passed away from cancer on Tuesday, May 9, 2015, at the Broen Memorial Home, Fergus Falls.
She was born November 15, 1927, in Pelican Rapids, the daughter of Harold and May (Swanson) Ruud.
She grew up in Pelican Rapids and married Reuben Nelson in 1946, in Pelican Rapids. The couple had four sons.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; two sons, Donovan and Jeffrey; three sisters and a brother.
Survivors include sons, Wayne (Debbie) of Missoula, MT and Scott (Crystal) of Missoula, MT; four grandchildren seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Margie Kilde of Fergus Falls, Marlys (Don) Holubok of Rothsay and numerous nieces and nephews.
No local services will be held. Burial will take place at Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Missoula, MT.
