Harriet P. Loll

February 27, 1928 — June 3, 2014

Harriet P. Loll, 86, a resident of Battle Lake, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls.

She was born on February 27, 1928, the daughter of Paul and Anna (Rohl) Milbrandt in Greendale Township, Richland County, North Dakota. Harriet was baptized and confirmed at the Emmanuel Evangelical Church, Hankinson, ND.

On October 21, 1944, she was united in marriage to Raymond C. Loll in Hankinson. They had a lake home on West Battle Lake, which she sold following Raymond’s death and moved into an apartment on North Shore Drive in Battle Lake, where she continued to live until her death.

Harriet loved the Battle Lake area, the small town friendships created and the friendly workers at Shoreline Café, and Larry’s Supermarket. She loved nature, watching deer, feeding the humming birds, flower planting in the Spring, and talking to people when she went to restaurants. She collected Christmas Santa bears and always got her husband’s fishing items ready for him when he went fishing. In her younger years she loved snowmobiling. She will be remembered dearly by her family.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Raymond, who died on August 19, 1996; granddaughter, Baby Brien; grandsons, Andrew Loll and Joey Wilm; great-grandson, Gabriel Tseplaev; sisters, Blanche, Vera, and Winifred and a brother, Jimmy.

Survivors include her daughters, Pat (Arvid) Haugen, Hankinson, ND, Linda (Carlton) Ferber, Fergus Falls, and Gloria (Jerry) Wilm, Pelican Rapids; sons, Paul (Pat) Loll, Battle Lake, Bruce (DeeAnna) Loll, Garland, TX and Keith (Brenda) Loll, Kewaunee, WI; grandchildren, Jenni and Josh Wilm, Leesa Sandell, Lynn Rue, Jeff and Jim Brein and Chris Loll; great-grandchildren, Nathan Loll, Autumn Tseplaev, and Teddy Sandell; sisters-in-law, Beatrice Neisch, Grand Forks, ND and Diane Loll, Wahpeton, and Brother and Sister-in-law, Duane and Mary Loll, Fergus Falls.
