Glenn Wade Moses, 51, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Sunday, December 4, 2011, at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls. He was born May 9, 1960, in Moorhead, Minnesota, the son of Keith and Helen (Lohse) Moses. Glenn was baptized and confirmed in Chokio. He attended Chokio-Alberta High School, graduating in 1978. He then attended Moorhead State University. On April 26, 1986, he married Brenda Lee Hovland in Fergus Falls. He was employed over the years at the Lake Region Halfway House, Nelson Ford, and the Productive Alternatives Detox Unit until May of 2011. Wherever he worked he was devoted to his job and everyone that he was involved with. Glenn celebrated 29 years of sobriety in October of 2011, and has been actively involved in the AA program throughout that time. He enjoyed camping, golf, card playing, guitar, woodworking, and having coffee with friends. Glenn was involved with his family and their activities, and would always attend his kid’s activities and events. He assisted with the Fergus Falls Relay for Life for several years. Preceding him in death were his father, Keith Moses, and his mother, Helen Moses. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Moses of Fergus Falls; his children: Jenna (Alex) Lund and Joseph Moses, of Moorhead, Minnesota; three brothers: Craig Moses and Brian Moses of Morris, MN, and Roger Moses of Fergus Falls; his sister, Diane (Mark) Strobel of Chokio, MN; his mother and father-in-law, Carol and Doug Hovland of Fergus Falls; a sister-in-law, Jackie Berndt of Fargo, ND; and several nieces and nephews. Memorials are preferred to the Lake Region Healthcare Cancer Care and Research Center or the Alano Club.
