Glen Dell Kenyon, 89, Fergus Falls, formerly of Erhard, died at home with the loving care of his family and Knute Nelson Hospice.
He was born on August 26, 1934 in a log cabin on Norway Lake by Underwood, MN. It was his maternal family (Jensen) homestead. He was joined by six other siblings, one of whom died as an infant.
Glen married Mary Ann Elshaug on June 3, 1953 in Webster, SD. They enjoyed 70 years of marriage and were blessed with seven children.
In 1957, Glen was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in Park Rapids, MN. He lived his faith, devoting time to helping others to come to a knowledge of Jehovah God and his purpose for the earth, spending nine years in the full-time ministry.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Dell and Louise; his brothers, David and Daniel; his daughters, Vicki Boyd and Gayle Brandt, and grandson, Benjamin.
He is survived by his daughters, Julie Ritchie and Leah Ann (Grant) Nygaard; sons, Jeffery, Scott and Bradley; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and two great granddaughters, and too many nieces and nephews to mention. He is also survived by a sister, Mary (Robert) Walz, and his brothers, Gene, Mark (Vonnie), and James.
Memorial service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3111 East Fir Avenue, Fergus Falls at 1:00pm on December 23, 2023.
