Geoffrey William St. Clair, 41, of Chicago, formerly of Raleigh, died unexpectedly from a fatal heart attack Tuesday morning, June 17, 2008. He was born March 7, 1967 in Stanford, CA. Geoffrey had a long career in the financial services industry. He was a stockbroker at Olde Financial Services in Raleigh. Most recently, Geoff was a commodity broker for Daniels Trading Company in Chicago. Geoff was graduated from Santa Barbara, CA High School and attended the University of Southern California in the B.F.A. program. He is survived by his fiancée, Leslie Watson from Williamston, NC; his parents, Janet Allison Glaser, Rollin Glaser (step-father), Raleigh, NC; Michael St. Clair and Ligia St. Clair (step-mother), Santa Barbara; sister, Allison Nelson and brother-in-law, Bruce Nelson, grandchildren, Victoria, Alexander, and Augustus. The Nelson family lives in St. Paul, MN.  Geoff was an avid sailor, skier, and tennis player. He was a devoted son, brother, and especially loved his niece and nephews. Geoff had a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Geoff spent many memorable summers with his grandparents, the late Bob and Elsa Allison, in Fergus Falls and Detroit Lakes. Bob Allison was a great influence on Geoff as he patterned his values and ethics after his grandfather.  Funeral services were held at Christ Church in Raleigh on Friday, June 20.   A public graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Fergus Falls in the Allison family plot. Funeral arrangements are by Olson Funeral Home. Memorials honoring Geoffrey may be sent to Christ Church Children’s Choir c/o Janet Allison Glaser, 9605 Halton Court, Raleigh, NC 27615.    Condolences may be sent online at www.olsonfuneralhome.com
