Geneal Marie Hysjulien Luebke

Geneal Hysjulien Luebke, age 88, of Morris, formerly of Fergus Falls, died Monday, September 26, 2016, at Stevens County Medical Center in Morris.
She was born on February 4, 1928 to Melvin and Marie (Thompson) Hysjulien and attended school in Fergus graduating in 1946 from Washington High School.

She was baptized and confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

She married Warren Luebke June 24, 1949 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls and four children were born to this union.

In 1956 the family moved to Morris, MN, where Geneal was active in her church, teaching Sunday school and joining groups for bible study. She was a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church in Morris.

Preceding her in death were her parents, two sisters and their husbands, Joyce and Henry Sha, Patricia and Forrie Sneva, brothers-in-law Clarence Luebke and Norman Luebke, sisters-in-law and their husbands, Joyce and Jim Hayes and Sylvia and Ron Benson; and son-in-law James Loveland.

She is survived by her husband, Warren Luebke; one son, Kirt (Pat) Luebke of Dawson; three daughters: Karla (Ivan) Winger of Bartlesville, OK, Kay Loveland of Inver Grove Heights, Karma (John) Wagner of Fergus Falls; one brother, Milton (Nellie) Hysjulien of Minnetrista; sister-in-law, Hazel Luebke of Perham; and ten grandchildren: Jimmy, Cindy, Lori, Gretchen, Andrew, Kris, Greg, Amanda, Mitch and Rochelle; ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She loved her Savior and her family.

Memorials are preferred to the Diabetes Association or to the donor’s choice.
