Gayle Delores Gundberg, 62, a resident of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at her residence. She was born on November 5, 1949 in St. Cloud, MN the daughter of Maurice and Delores (Bargabus) Hanson. She grew up in St. Cloud and graduated from St. Cloud Technical High. After high school she went on to St. Cloud State University where she majored in Anthropolgy. In 1970 she married James Loehrer. Through the years her time and attention were given to being a full time mother. She also spent 10 years as the loss prevention manager at K-Mart as well as being an owner/operator in a trucking business for several years. In 1992 she married Warren Gundberg. Gayle’s dream was always to have a hobby farm with lots of animals. That dream became reality with her 10 acres which was home to ten horses, 30 to 40 goats, dozens of chickens, lots of birds and peacocks. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Delores, and her husband, Jim Loehrer. Gayle is survived by her sons, Joseph Loehrer of St. Cloud, Jason and Donavon Loehrer of Fergus Falls and Dan McNinch of Fergus Falls, a sister, Anna Thiesen of Henning, MN, brothers, Kevin Hanson of Melrose, MN and Gary Hanson of Kailua, HI, and grandchildren Tatum, Tabytha, Taylor, Alex, Isaiah, Kaylie, Tanner, Dayton, Parker, Chloe, Josh, Jeren, Jordan, Jezera, Joeb, Jamus, and two unborn grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012, at the Abundant Life Church in Fergus Falls with Pastor Duane Smith officiating.  Memorials preferred to "Donations for Donavon" at Afinity Plus, Fergus Falls. Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls is in charge of the arrangements.
