Gayle Brandt

Gayle Carmen Brandt, 47, of rural Erhard, died suddenly on Monday, December 24, 2007 at Lake Region Hospital, Fergus Falls. She was born September 11, 1960, in Fergus Falls, the daughter of Glen and Mary (Elshaug) Kenyon. She graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1978 and MSCTC in Fergus Falls with an accounting degree in 1998. In July of 1998, she married Dennis Brandt in Sisseton, SD. Gayle worked at the Pioneer Senior Cottages until recently when she became a cook at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Pelican Rapids. Gayle was a baptized member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed the outdoors, raising pugs and various other animals and time spent with family. She will be greatly missed. Preceding her in death were her paternal grandparents, Dell and Louise Kenyon; maternal grandparents, Oscar and Ragna Elshaug; a nephew, Benjamin Kenyon and uncles, Carroll, Edwin and Oscar Elshaug. Survivors include her husband, Dennis of Erhard; a stepson, James Brandt of Grand Forks, ND; her parents, Glen and Mary Kenyon; brothers, Jeff (Jana) of Vining, Scott (Cheryl) of Erhard and Brad (Brittany) of Fergus Falls; sisters, Vicki Boyd and Julie (Bruce) Ritchie all of Fergus Falls and LeahAnn (Grant) Nygaard of Erhard; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
