Gale Clifton Pederson, 64, a resident of Fergus Falls, went to be with his Lord Jesus on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at PioneerCare in Fergus Falls.
He was born on January 8, 1954, to Clifford and Lorraine Pederson. He was raised on a farm in rural Underwood, MN.
Gale attended the Barnhard country school near Underwood for grade-school and graduated from Underwood High School in 1972. After high school, Gale attended 3 years of Chef’s School in Moorhead, MN.
On October 5, 2004, Gale married Rebecca “Becky” Pederson in Sisseton, SD.
Gale owned Farmer’s Dell Restaurant in Underwood, and also worked as a chef and caterer at many other places in the Fergus Falls area as well as the Salvation Army, Elks Club, and the Pioneer Home.
Gale helped to start the Messiah Lutheran Church in Underwood. He also ministered at the Salvation Army. Gale and Becky are both members of Cornerstone Church in Fergus Falls.
Gale loved animals but he especially loved cats – especially his Tommy Cat! He enjoyed fishing and loved reading. He read his Bible every day and loved to help people to know Jesus. He was a friend to so many. Gale loved watching football, and rooted for the Vikings. He was also an avid whisk player and loved lutefisk and popcorn dripping in butter!
Survivors include his loving wife, Rebecca Pederson; three children, Jessica, Katie, and Gideon; two grandchildren, Noah and Bailey; and two brothers, James Pederson, Darrell Pederson. He is also survived by Becky’s children, Melissa, Jo Ellen, and Penny, and grandchildren, Becky, Jacob, Zachary, Stephy, Alyssa, and Logan.
Memorial Service: 4:00 PM Friday, February 16, 2018 at Cornerstone Church, Fergus Falls

A second memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Messiah Church, rural Underwood with Rev. Timothy Collins officiating. Family will be present one hour early to greet friends.
