Franklin Bruce Horn, 60, of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at the Broen Memorial Home in Fergus Falls. He was born January 26, 1951, in Lima, Ohio, to Frank and Joyce Eloise (Wiese) Horn. He graduated from Elbow Lake High School in 1969, and worked as a machinist with Control Data in Edina for 14 years. His hobbies included camping, fishing, hunting and hiking, and he enjoyed music, visiting with friends, and fish tanks. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Horn and Joyce Goerdt. Survivors include his wife, Michelle; children, Patrick Henry Horn of Rosedale, Brendan Bruce Horn and Jenna Willoby, both of Burnsville, and Brittni Marie Horn of Eagan; grandchildren, Kyle, Kayleigh, Kadyn and Logan; and siblings, Lonnie Horn, Maurita Thompson (Cordahl), Carol Goerdt and Michael Goerdt. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011, at the Light and Life Auditorium of the Broen Memorial Home in Fergus Falls with Chaplain Ken Austin officiating. Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls is in charge of arrangements.
