Francis “Barry” Buckley, 67, of St. Cloud, died Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at St. Benedicts Senior Community in St. Cloud. He was born November 2, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of James and Peggy (Packard) Buckley. He attended school in Fergus Falls through his Junior year and completed high school in Minneapolis. He attended Tech School in Granite Falls. Francis married Mary Carver in Staples. They had one daughter, Cindy. Most recently he has lived in St. Cloud. Music was a passion of his, playing the piano and composing. He also loved electronics, camping, and fishing. He had a favorite coffee spot where he met friends on a daily basis. Preceding him in death were his father; and his grandparents and several aunts and uncles. Survivors include his mother, Peggy Buckley of Fergus Falls; his daughter, Cindy (Cary) Lindeman and their children, Trinity and Grant of Mankato; two sisters, Mary Lee (Tim) Morris and their daughter, Erica of Wahpeton, ND and Elizabeth “Beth” (Larry) Rudh of Fergus Falls and their son, Matthew Buckley (partner Chad Stevenson) of Bloomington. There will be a public graveside service at 10 am Wednesday, November 30th, at St. Otto’s Catholic Cemetery, Fergus Falls, with Father Greg Paffel officiating. Olson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls is in charge of arrangements.
